Our curricula enriches and inspires teachers to have fun; to engage their students in creating and experiencing music.

We teach young children to play the piano while learning is still fun and exciting.

We believe in the power of learning to sing and play instruments.

We network with and mentor other music teachers, helping spread the joy of music internationally.

Raya Leavitt

Creator and Owner, Music Teacher Mentor and Advisor, and Curriculum Writer

Raya is passionate about FUN music education, and she believes in the power of music!

Raya has a Bachelor of Music from BYU in Elementary Music Education with a vocal emphasis, and a Masters of Education from ASU, in Curriculum and Instruction and Early Childhood Education. She is the creator of Sound Beginnings, a preschool music curriculum owned by Let's Play Music LLC, and she trained and advised the first 100 Sound Beginnings teachers. She is having a blast creating all of the Raya Grace curricula for Music Preschool and MVP and teaching in her home studio.

Raya has owned and operated a home music studio in Provo, Utah since 2005. She started teaching in the Provo School District in 2003, as an Elementary Music Specialist. She currently teaches full-day kindergarten at a public school, and is raising two beautiful children.

Cheri Henricksen

Music Preschool Teacher

Cheri has an abundance of teaching and early childhood experience. She has worked with young children in many capacities including preschool and daycare, and even as a kindergarten aide in Raya's classroom! They love working together! Cheri is a fun, loving, and skillful teacher! She has a beautiful, clear singing voice and loves music and children.

Cheri is a local who grew up in the area, married her high school sweetheart, and is now an amazing, fun mother of four children who attend Edgemont, Centennial, and Timpview Schools. Her students are so lucky to have such an experienced and well-rounded teacher!


Amy Call

Private Lesson Teacher

Amy Call is a masterful musician who hails BYU and U of U as her Alma Maters. She has studied piano since age five, played flute from age 8 through her first year of college, some guitar, and harp. More seriously, she studied at a music conservatory in Munich Germany (flute, voice, piano and organ). In college she sang in many choirs and operas. She eventually focused on voice and sang in leading roles as Merry Widow, Die Fledermaus, Hansel and Gretel, and Suor Angelica.

More recently, Amy has focused on organ performance, church service with choirs and musical productions, and teaching. She had a studio in Maryland and since moving back to Provo has been engaged with encouraging her children’s talents. She says, “Watching children develop their talents and personalities is a great passion of mine. I hope to be able to cultivate discipline as well as spark creativity and joy.”

Savannah Pope

Private Piano and MVP Teacher

Savannah loves music and has a passion for everything creative. She has been playing piano since she was eight and also plays the violin, ukulele, mandolin, and some guitar. She is fun and loves to laugh. She enjoys composing and can sit down and make a beautiful song out of anything! Savannah loves art in general and adds an artistic flare to her playing and teaching. She loves and understands children and is so excited to teach and help them find their passion for music.

Annika Pope

Private Piano and MVP Teacher

Annika is a skilled pianist who is happy and loves to laugh! She has been playing the piano since she was eight and also plays the violin, ukulele, banjo, and is learning the flute. She loves music and wishes she could play every instrument! She has a strong theory background and has advanced quickly in piano, playing technical pieces and tackling her first concerto this last year. She loves young children and is very excited to be teaching and sharing her passion for music.
