ACTIVITY: Collaborate on a Peace Paper Crane Sculpture
The bombings of Nagasaki and Hiroshima in 1945 were tragic, terrible events that ended World War II. In Kensuke's Kingdom, Kensuke tells Michael how all his family and friends, including his wife and child, were killed by the bomb in Nagasaki.
