8th Grade Band

Welcome to the 8th Grade Band Page!

8th grade Band is the continuation from 7th grade Band in the Band Program in the Ravenna School District. In 8th grade Band, the instrument options are the same as 7th grade band (Flute, Oboe, Bassoon, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Baritone, and Percussion - Bell kit and Snare Drum).

Given 8th grade is the last grade level in middle school, there are a few recruiting performances in preparing these students to transition into High School Band as 9th graders.  

2-4 performances are offered for the academic school year - Homecoming Marching Band Performance that includes Band Alumni, Holiday Concert, Spring Concert, and Memorial Day Parade.
