The English Department and Poetry Club are excited to invite the entire Ransom Everglades community to join our celebration of National Poetry Month! For those who don’t know, NAPOMO hosted every April by the Academy of American Poets to connect people to poems.
This year, RE will explore Miami as a site of “Currents and Crossroads”. We invite you to write one or more original poems that speak to the theme of Connection, Miami, and Current events. To inspire your work, we will host a number of exciting and interactive events throughout the month. Watch the video below and explore this site to learn more! Check back throughout the month to see photos and videos from each of our projects, to submit your work and earn a limited-edition journal and pen set, and to keep track of NAPOMO!
