Although our earth is dying there is still hope...
"The European Parliament approved a proposed law on Wednesday that would ban certain single-use plastic packaging like mini shampoo bottles in hotels and thin plastic bags for groceries, in an attempt to curb the rising tide of packaging waste" (Abnett, 24AD).
Here are some simple things you can do to help the environment!
1. Buy from eco-friendly food brands; Listed below are the top 3 most eco-friendly food brands
Nature's path is a very good cereal brand and is helping the earth in ways like using 100% recyclable card board and using crops with no GMO or chemicals.

Feeding America is an organization were you can donate excess food and volunteer, and there are nine food banks in Florida for you to go donate to!
Hungry Harvest is an organization in Maryland that delivers boxes of "saved" so called ugly fruits and vegetables from grocery stores. They deliver it directly to homes in Maryland.
Iskashitaa Refugee Network is an organization in Arizona that shows refugees and others how to identify and harvest crops. This helps them know how to use and incorporate their skills from where they are from. This also helps give them larger opportunities toward a job.
Boston Area Gleaners is a organization in Boston that helps donate food to food pantries and provide meal programs. They have wholesale markets where they give food to lower income areas. The organization also helps pack and deliver food by the help of volunteers.
