The Future...
While you may think that the future is going to be very bleak, there is still hope. According to IEA.org, they state in "The latest edition of the World Energy Outlook (WEO), the most authoritative global source of energy analysis and projections, describes an energy system in 2030 in which clean technologies play a significantly greater role than today. This includes almost 10 times as many electric cars on the road worldwide; solar PV generating more electricity than the entire US power system does currently; renewables’ share of the global electricity mix nearing 50%, up from around 30% today; heat pumps and other electric heating systems outselling fossil fuel boilers globally; and three times as much investment going into new offshore wind projects than into new coal- and gas-fired power plants."
This is a pretty good start to a better future. However, the future is definitely far from perfect. In fact, CANARY MEDIA says that even though the U.S has made these great strides and advancements, they will still not be on track to fulfilling their carbon agreement with France and in 2022 the U.S government invested 1 trillion dollars in "energy transition." But even that was just shy of energy and fuel as the U.S had still invested more into fossil fuels.
If we continue to harm our planet then the future might contain a world that is half melted, very hot, and half underwater. We need to help our planet and work to save our world. If we continue to treat our planet like this, then we might not have anywhere to live in the future. This is why we need to act against this giant industry.
