The K-12 Ramsey School District follows the Common Sense Digital Citizenship Curriculum. Throughout the school year at Eric S. Smith Middle, students are led by the Library Media Specialist, principal, guidance counselors, classroom teachers and outside organizations in digital citizenship lessons. Lesson topics include (among others): Digital Life 101, Cyberbullying: Be Upstanding, A Creator’s Rights and Responsibilities, and Safe Online Talk.
Of course, the home/school connection is very important. Please see this link for parent resources from the Common Sense Media Family Toolbox. Together, we can empower your children to be protected and do the "right thing" online. Thank you for your support.
