Music & Arts Center (Ramsey Interstate Shopping Center) will accommodate all recommended rental instruments, drum sticks, and accessories (mouthpieces, reeds, valve oil, cork grease, mutes, etc.). Instrument rentals can be obtained online at www.musicarts.com or at the Ramsey store. The Ramsey store also handles instrument repairs and stocks all the required lesson books.

When taking instruments to Music & Arts Center for repairs, be sure to remove the mouthpiece, reeds, music, and other accessories. Bring them to school so you can still participate in band and lessons using a “loaner” instrument from school.

If you have trouble getting to Music & Arts Center for a repair, the instrument can be picked up from/returned to Smith School by a Music& Arts Center educational rep, who visits the school once a week.
