Meet the Teacher

Hi Parents!

My name is Kaitlin Goldberg and I am the Family and Consumer Science (Home Economics) teacher at Ramsey High School. I am in my 6th year of teaching at the high school and it has been an amazing experience. I am currently teaching Child Development and Financial Literacy to grades 9-12. I am also one of the Technology Teacher Leaders here at RHS.

I graduated from Rutherford High School and went to pursue my degree in Health and Physical Education. As I was completing my degree, I choose to obtain my Family and Consumer Science certification and learned what my true passion was. As I was working towards my teaching certification, I worked in kids' gyms as a teacher to children 6 months-grade school.

As a teacher, I believe that learning comes in all forms. I always express to my students that Child Development is a fun, but challenging class. Each year brings a new set of students and their experiences but it is how the students learn and adapt that shows the great strength of a great caregiver. I am always excited to get the year started and what wonderful things are to come!
