There are no specific requirements to make any of the fall cheer teams. All athletes that sign up will be placed on a team through the tryout process.
The competition team is a selective group of skilled athletes. Not all athletes will make this team. There are no specific skills needed to tryout for the team. Each athlete has their own specific set of skills that creates the team dynamic. Tumbling is encouraged but not required.
After school, 2-3 days per week, 2 hours per practice, outside
*Both Jv and Varsity practice together all throughout the fall season. Jv members may be released from practice earlier than Varsity members.
Fall: practice 2-3 days per week after fall practices 1- 1 1/2 hours.
Winter: 2-3 days per week, 2 hour practices
Cheers for home JV football games - Typically Mondays after school
These members cheer for both JV & Varsity football games
Cheer for Home & Away Varsity football games
League Mini Meets: These types of competitions typically take place Monday nights in January.
Competitions: Competitions typically take place Saturdays or Sundays in January and February with possible competitions in December, if the team is ready.
