Students in grades four and five will be able to put books on hold this year. Each child is permitted to have two books checked out to his/her name for independent reading. Students may also have additional books checked out for use in their respective reading groups or research projects.
If a child has a book (or books) overdue by one month or more, his/her borrowing privileges will be suspended until the overdue books have been returned or replacement fee paid. A notice will go home if the overdue book is not returned.
If a child loses or damages a book, we expect payment for the book so it can be replaced. Once a book is paid for, no refunds will be given if the book is found since we will have already ordered a replacement. Thank you.
