TRIO Upward Bound

Trio Upward Bound serves high school students in 13 school districts in the Adirondack region, of which Whitehall is on that list! This program works with students who are from low-income backgrounds who are planning to attend college as first-generation students. These students work with an advisor from 9th - 12th grade in developing their academic skills, building career awareness, college exploration, as well as college preparation (including admissions and financial aid). During their time in the program, they will be introduced to a variety of colleges through in-person/virtual tours, field trips, skill-building events and can join in a fun summer program. The best part, this is all FREE for students enrolled in the program! If you know a high school student who would benefit from this type of program have them fill out this application!
