Your journey to pelvic health starts here
An Arabic word that means ‘the womb’, where the baby develops. Derived from one of God’s attributes ‘Al-Rahman’ - The Most Merciful.
A beautiful name that demonstrates the beauty, strength and compassion of a woman. Where life is created, and one of the greatest honours is bestowed.
Manal and Aisha's friendship blossomed from a shared childhood as family friends. Both embarking on careers in physiotherapy, they found that family gatherings, once filled with lighthearted chatter, inevitably transformed into lively discussions about their latest clinical experiences.
This shared passion, particularly for women's health, ignited a realisation: a significant gap existed in the care provided to women. This realisation ultimately led to the birth of Rahim Women's Health Physiotherapy.
Manal is a compassionate and empathetic physiotherapist who aims to provide all her patients with holistic care. Her journey began after completing her Masters of Physiotherapy degree at UTS in 2019. Since then, she gained extensive experience working at large hospitals including Westmead and Concord, treating a variety of conditions. While working in women’s health, she found her passion for improving the health and well being of women across all life stages. Manal treats women with a comprehensive approach, incorporating education, exercise and compassion to optimise outcomes. Known for her laid back and easy going nature, she makes it easy for her patients to feel comfortable having any type of conversation. She has experience in a broad range of Women’s Health conditions, with a special interest in post-partum and post-menopausal changes.
Manal has undertaken post graduate training including the APA Level 1 and 2 Continence and Women’s Health Courses, and more advanced courses through the Women’s Health Training Associates (WHTA). She has also completed a 6-month intensive mentorship program with APA titled Continence and Women’s Health Physiotherapists and has exceeded in meeting all the relevant continence and pelvic floor competencies.
In her free time, you’ll find her spending quality time with her family, friends and cats! She also loves to travel and appreciate the beauty of nature, locally and around the world.
