This half term we are focusing on descriptive writing. We are using The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas as our stimulus.
We are contrasting the characters and settings of Shmuel and Bruno using:

powerful adjectives, verbs and adverbs
After The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas we are writing a newspaper report of a fictional event based in our local area using WW2 as a stimulus.
