About RGS PeRL
The RGS Centre for Pedagogical Research and Learning (PeRL) was launched in August 2010 with the aim of engendering a culture of informed practice in the school. RGS PeRL provides opportunities and platforms for teachers to integrate their pedagogical knowledge with current and relevant research. The objective is to hone the Reflective Practitioner who questions and investigates a problem situation in order to frame a solution that maximises student learning. In 2020, as part of our 10th anniversary, we launched a virtual exhibition and we are delighted to invite you to share our journey of bold interactions, collaborative inquiry and thoughtful practice. We are grateful to every individual who walked with us. Ultimately, education is a human enterprise. Our joy comes from delighting our students and collaborating with our fellow-educators.
About RGS PeRL Symposium
The inaugural RGS PeRL Symposium was held in 2014 with the aim of bringing together educators in Singapore to share ideas on good practices and engage in professional conversations about teaching and learning. By organising this event, we aim to promote reflective practice and provide a platform to advance teacher research in Singapore.
