"I love the residents and attendings - we all get along. The teaching, including sign outs and lectures, is top notch. Every resident has access to multiple research and educational projects. Finally, the PD is supportive and involved from day one. If I had to do it all over again I would pick Einstein hands down." - Otto Schoeck
"The attendings are amazing teachers both in lecture and at the workstation. The program director cares a lot about resident education and well-being, and implements changes in a timely manner." - Weiya Mu

"Einstein provides a one-of-a-kind learning experience in the setting of a friendly, family-like culture. Education is the primary focus of the faculty here and their dedication to our academic and professional development is evident on a daily basis. Not to mention, Philadelphia is an awesome city which has a wide variety of things to do and boasts one of the strongest medical communities in the country. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to train here and couldn’t imagine being anywhere else for my residency."- Ben Comora
"Outstanding program with a unique family-like environment! Faculty prioritizes teaching and encourages research. Absence of fellows gives opportunity to read all advanced imaging. Large case volume, performing ultrasound overnight and taking call without an in-house attending allow residents to make independent decisions and be exceptionally well prepared for the real-world practice." - Maria Grigovich
"I have already made lifelong relationships with my co-residents and l cannot overstate how much of a family atmosphere the attendings have created. The attendings work to learn who you are as an individual and work to see you excel in both your professional and personal life." - Alex Anavim
"On interview day, I saw a genuine camaraderie between the residents. This was extremely important in my decision to be a part of Einstein Radiology!" - Courtney Lee
"Supportive staff, friendly residents, strong education, protected lunch time" - Charles Ko
"Good community, emphasis on education, resident focused, responsive to resident feedback" - Phillip Kim
"Wonderful lectures. Various pathology. Great people (residents, faculty and techs)." - Mehdi Taghipour
"While the staff is interested in teaching and the lectures are applicable, the volume and complexity of cases render the education at Einstein second to none."

Excellent overall residency program
Einstein offers a fantastic residency. The culture of the department and relationship between residents and attendings was excellent, which really fosters a fun work environment. All of the attendings work at Einstein because they really care about teaching. They each make teaching (via lectures and at the workstation) the focus of their work. Several attendings also went out of their way to help me with my fellowship applications and interview process as well. The lecture curriculum and workstation teaching are very good. When chatting with other residents at different programs, it seems as though Einstein has a more solid teaching curriculum and definitely had higher quality lectures than many other programs. At Einstein there are no Radiology department fellows, which I found to be a huge advantage in my education. Every study is yours to read, including every MRI, CT, US, mammogram, PET, or nuclear medicine study. The same applies for interventional radiology, where residents can participate in any procedure they wish (including TACE, TIPS, even cerebral angiography) depending on their level of experience. Previous residents who were interested in IR fellowships were commonly performing more complex procedures with attending assistance by the end of their residency. I would highly recommend Einstein, as the program offers a great balance of a fun workplace and excellent clinical training.

Would choose this residency over and over again hands down! Amazing experience!
Einstein will teach you how to become an excellent clinical radiologist and be prepared for the real world. They do an excellent job in choosing applicants who will work well together. People there truly become your family. I still keep in touch with my coresidents and attendings even after years of having left the program. Best training I could have asked for.

Great gem in Philly!
Great residency program! I had a fantastic experience during my residency here. The atmosphere is very collegial. Scheduling is very flexible since vacations are requested by each resident rather than assigned at the beginning of the year.
