Welcome to the Rabun County Primary School family! Kindergarten is packed with TONS of wonderful things to learn. We will explore letters and numbers….and even learn to read! Kindergarten is a special time in a child’s life. I encourage families to be as involved as possible. I look forward to getting to know you all. I would like to share some information about me. I have lived in Rabun County since I was 4 years old. I come from a large family. I have 4 sisters and 3 brothers. I am married to Shane Welborn and we have 2 children, Logan and Mckenzie. I have one granddaughter, Dani Paige. I love going to church, spending time with my family, and reading.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Piedmont College in 2011 and I completed my Master’s Degree through Walden University in 2018. I love my job and working for Rabun County Schools.

My paraprofessional is Christy Stancil. She is married to Brian and they have 3 children Breanna, Alyssa, and Aaron. She likes sweet tea, singing and spending time with family and friends. She dislikes snakes, feet, and dishonesty. She is an asset to my classroom.
