Mrs. Guyer

I am very excited to have joined the Rabun County Primary School family! We have moved to this

wonderful area from Haywood County, N.C. where I taught and we raised our 4 boys.

I have been teaching for as long as I remember and that includes my younger siblings, cousins, and

neighborhood children. I was that child that was always playing school. I have my bachelor's degree in

Special Education and Birth-Kindergarten education from W.C.U. in Cullowhee, N.C. and my master’s

degree in Early Education from UNCW in Wilmington, N.C.

Some of my favorite things are sweet tea, fall, football, hiking and horseback riding in the mountains,

and planning get togethers for my family and friends.

Last year I finally got some girls in my life with the addition of 2 daughter in laws! My 2 oldest both got

married last year and we are so excited that our family is growing.

I look forward to a great school year getting to know your children and consider it an honor that I get to

be with them every day.
