Why is Mindful Breathing so Important?

Grounding is a form of mindfulness to help connect you to the present moment. It helps you find the calm in all of the chaos, and allows your mind and body to work together. Try using this technique if you are feeling a high level of anxiety, or panic.


Guided Imagery:

A form of focused relaxation that helps create harmony between the mind and body. It allows for your imagination to create calming images in your mind to help create a "mental escape."


S.T.O.P Exercise:


By occasionally reminding yourself to stop during your day, you can increase your awareness of what is going on around you and inside you. Use this acronym to help you re-engage with reality, and disengage from the habitual busyness of your mind.
