Classical Civilisation is the study of the ancient world in all its forms. We offer it as an A-Level and you do not need to have studied the GCSE in order to be able to take the subject. However, as it is also the basis for all things literary, the study of the ancient world and its literature is a rich and useful field to explore independently as well as being absolutely fascinating.
Classics includes the study of the history, art, architecture, culture, drama, literature, philosophy, politics, society and people of the ancient world. It is a diverse and exciting subject that will open up a whole new world to those willing to give it a try.
