At Eastmark High School, we have a smaller space and not as many materials as other schools, so I had to be creative when creating my map. Therefore, my lighting and curtain maps may differ from the maps you might see for other productions. As advised by Cynthia Catchpole, I created a Google Doc that outlined each song and the cues for when lighting or curtains needed to be changed.

Lighting and Curtain Map: I went through my book and marked when we needed spotlights and main stage lights changes. I coupled them with the lyric/line that they changed on so that our lighting technicians could accurately operate our lights. I also went through and made a note of when our curtain needed to be opened or closed or if it needed to be placed in a specific way. After I completed all of my notes, I transferred them to a Google Doc. I organized it by Acts and by songs. Then, to separate the lighting from the curtains, I colored each text differently so that it was easier to follow. The curtain text is dark red and the lighting is in black.
