About me

Reading life:

I'm hoping.... that one day I will be able to cuddle up and read with my dog Darcy (seen here waiting for food scraps to drop from the kitchen bench!). At the moment, she's more into chewing on books than letting me read them! (Update!!! I can now cuddle with Darcy and read... but she's more interested in getting gross and dirty at the dog park)

I like... realistic fiction, crime, historical fiction, and future-based fiction, especially Cli-Fi! 

I don't like... horror (usually, although I'm happy to try!)

Other things in life:

I love... travel, especially where palm trees are involved (like the ones to the left in Bowan, QLD). I also love getting lost in writing a story.

I'm addicted to... coffee, books, salt-water, writing and family.

Something I've learned to love... audiobooks!! They are brilliant because I can be reading, even when I'm driving or folding socks.

My best day would involve... warm weather, a run, a swim in the ocean, coffee and the newspaper, a long breakfast, reading a book, writing time, then more swimming and reading!
