Students who are trained within this sector focus on occupations in business management, international trade, accounting, banking, investing, and other financial service specialties. Students will learn to master basic business principles and procedures before moving on to career path specializations.
FINANCIAL SERVICES PATHWAY
Occupations associated with this pathway are Accounts Payable Clerk, Banker, Investment Consultant, Tax Preparer, Auditor, Accountant, Financial Adviser, and Insurance Agent. Students on this pathway will learn about the field of financial management and how it is impacted by economic, financial, technological, international, social, legal, and ethical factors. They will learn how to compile, formulate, and interpret financial information for use in management decision making including compliance and risk management.
