Since 1978 the Esperanza Visual Arts Department has purchased outstanding artwork for display in the Esperanza Permanent Art Collection. The art is selected based on excellence in artistry, vision, ideation, and  craftsmanship. The Esperanza Art Scholarship  is awarded annually to each student selected, to be applied to the school  of their choice.
