Maths activities you can do at home:

• Baking: measuring ingredients, fractions, capacity

• Counting/sorting objects and recording on a graph

• Basic facts (addition/subtraction facts within 10/20)

• Read numbers to 20/100/1000

• Say the number before or after a number

• Learn the doubles, e.g. 4+4, 9+9

• Learn the "Ten Friends" (ten bonds), e.g. 1+9, 2+8, 3+7, 4+6, 5+5

• Measuring using rulers or tape measures

• Create your own board game

• Basic facts treasure hunt
