The concepts behind the sections
The concepts behind the sections
Based on the reviewed objective of this exhibition we want to create now sections or themes or stories. Particularly these sections are:
Family Tree Section, which represents the lineage objective and family relations. Main display is the family tree, and family list of birthday celebrants, a list traditionally maintained by late Lolo Nick.
Reunion/Gathering Section, a small space good for 20-30 people where people could gather and listen to introduction and stories. Perhaps also space for small dining area (includes the reclaimed long dining table).
Nicanor's Bedroom and Collections Section, a bedroom on the ground floor that holds the original four-poster metal bed of Lolo Nick (original to house of Lola Imang) and other collections namely, his watch repair, foreign currencies/souvenirs, and carpentry tools.
Anastacia's (mini) Section, although few porcelain remains from Lola Tasing, it could be kept on display in the dining.
Contemporary Creations Collection/Section, the new creation from the children and grandchildren of Nick and Tasing range from cross stitches to paintings; mostly dotted everywhere in the house to allow breathing space for the myriad of creations; to be coherent with the fact that these come from the new generation that live and work in various places and fields.
House History Collection/Section, documenting the journey of the house from its original location and state and to its current development. Extended and graphic captions could be in the receiving area or patio (so that reader could easily visualize the exterior of the house while reading through the narrative) while interior pieces are understandably scattered all through out as they are part of the venue-house itself.

as mural inspiration using uniform frames to hold solo photos of family members paired with uniform labels. This project has been discussed with the owners of the house and we aim the following concepts of the family tree:
Use uniform 3R frames for each family member except the couple photo of Nicanor and Anastacia. The 3R photos must be affordable and well-stocked so that new family members could easily be added and squeezed onto the tree branches
The tree branches could be extended, we worry less about the need to look like a symmetrical tree, rather to be consistent with the branching of family relations.
The labels need to be consistent as well, with name and date of birth at least
Birthday list that could be on simple framed on month, A3 paper so that it could be updated once a year.

locating the widest possible continues space probably between living and receiving area, and across to the patio. Some furniture could be temporarily moved to allow clear gathering area. Activities include cocktailing, story telling, and even singing.
Nicanor's Section
Nicanor's Section
literally Lolo Nick's old bedroom extended and refinished as part of the 2020 renovation; recreated with his memorabilias.
In addition to his (1) bed, he left his (2) small watch repair table which we could flank with his watch repair tools and then cordon off or covered with top glass box, (3) an estante or glass display cabinet that Lolo Nick carpentered himself could now display carpentry tools and possibly travel souvenirs, (4) and on frames are his currency collection.
The inventory is not only to make record of the things for display but is the essential step for the planning of exhibit spaces in the house.
