Each August, the TJMS band program runs a camp for beginning instrumentalists to learn the basics of their instruments. This camp is designed for students entering 5th grade after having selected their instrument in the Spring with Mr. Hackbarth. Students will have the opportunity to work with a specialist teacher on their instrument over the course of a week. By the end of the week, students will be able to play short, but full songs by rote or music notation.
