Unity Day at SRTMS: Each Grade level wore a different color to represent our unity and inclusion of all!
Interview with Mr. Borchard:
Q: Mr. Borchard, how's the new CSI program going?
A: People are starting Minecraft which is great. Generally, it is going well, and seems like everybody is enjoying it.
Q: What can we improve about the program?
A: To hopefully have everybody making their creations instead of just copying it down
Q: Have we made any progress towards these goals?
A: Yes, we've reached the first main goal which was to implement the program, and are starting to make things individualized.

Q: What inspired you to be a counselor?
A: My counselor in high school and elementary school inspired me. I still remember in second grade when we played with puppets.
Q: When did you start as a counselor?
A: I started about a year ago.
Q: What's your favorite counseling method?
A: I like to have individual counseling.
Q: What's your favorite animal?
A: I like lions.

Valentine's Day is February 14. This year, it falls on a Wednesday. It is a holiday that celebrates lovers when they exchange gifts and greetings. It is thought that it originated in the Roman Festival of Lupercalia.
February Student of the Month Word-Honesty
Honesty- the fact or condition of being honest; integrity; truthfulness. Sally was the person who deserved the honesty award the most. See "We are Santa Rosa" for more!
SuperQuiz
SuperQuiz
Superquiz is a team-based trivia quiz where students of a school memorize a variety of facts from an assigned school and get tested on them. This year's Super Quiz was held in the Monte Vista gym and our team, the SRTMS Scorpions had a blast and won (what place did they get)!

Readworks: How to Say I Ruff You
Danny was a boy that was sad because he didn't get a valentine. He was complaining to his dog Sherlock, who was also his best friend. His sister Maria couldn't help but overhear him and she felt bad for him. So she made a card and got him a box of chocolates and marked that it was from his dog. Once Danny saw the chocolates he lit up with joy and was no longer sad.
