Lunar New Year is a chinese holiday. It is a day to celebrate the new year on the lunasis calendar.This year is the year of the dragon. That is the luckiest symbol of the zodiac signs.
Leap Year Info
A Leap Year happens once every 4 years on February 29. There have been 50 leap years in the last 200 years. It is a very interesting way to learn how a leap year happens. I still do not understand leap years.

This year, kindergarten took a field trip to the Moorpark zoo and took a look at many different kinds of animals! The moorpark zoo is located at the moorpark community college.
Saint Patricks Day Info
On March 16 almost the whole world celebrates Saint Patrick's Day. st. paddy's day normally starts in Ireland in a church, but now we go to parades and try to catch the leprechaun.
