the satisfaction and contentment of knowing we did our best. Even if the outcome is not how we hoped, knowing we are in control and we couldn't have done anymore gives us peace of mind.

Meaning: Perseverance means a continued effort to achieve something, even when it is hard. If someone really wants something, they will persevere to achieve it. This applies in school, too! When you have an assignment to turn in soon, you might have to preserve to finish working on it.
