No Place For Hate Mrs. Aquino's Interview:
Q. What is the No Place For Hate Program?
A. The No Place For Hate Program is a partnership with the Anti-Defamation League to bring awareness and wanting to promote kindness and acceptance of other cultures and religions, specifically with the ADL to combat Jewish hate and anti-Semitism.
Q. What message do you want to spread through the No Place For Hate Curriculum?
A. Mainly, Anti-Defamation League cultural awareness, religion awareness, diversity, and anti-semitism.
Q. Have you seen the influence of No Place For Hate in the students' actions? If so, what different actions have you seen?
A. I think with the younger students it is visible in a way that they are using the peace path and they are exposed to ore cultureslike when we talked about different lunches and different foods and how not everybody has the same stuff
whereas here especially in SoCal we already have a lot of different culturesand lots of foods and things so its very common for us but where it's kind of like it's not common for everybody.
So a lot of people are trying to understand that. Middle school, I think it's all over your head.
Q. What type of activities do the little kids usually do?
A. They have been doing arts and crafts.
Q. What activities do the older kids do?
A. You guys did arts and crafts with the tock painting, and you guys are leading each other through class discussions.
Q. When was the No Place For Hate program first started here at SRTMS?
A. I'd say about 3 years.
Easter - a Christian holiday, celebrates the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, celebrated on the first Sunday after the first full moon following the Spring equinox

April Fools Day - a day of pranks, jokes, and hoaxes, celebrated on April 1st each year
The myth of the Easter bunny, emerged in the 1800's, bringing the tradition of the "Osterhase" or Easter Hare. The tradition originated in Germany, where children would make baskets for the Hare. In the 18th century, the tradition of the Easter hare was brought to America. Over time, the Easter hare became the Easter bunny we know today. Lots say that the story of the Easter bunny came from the folkloric furball Eostre, the Saxon goddess of spring.

Caretaking Our Worlds Water - Readworks.org Article
Water is one of the most important resources known to man. Life without it would be impossible. As stated in the article Caretaking Our World's Water, water is simply a limited resource due to human pollution and lavish water usage. As the population grows, so does the amount of water wasted. This is unfortunate because there is not always water where we need it, like in places that have little rainfall. As humans, we can all work together to find a solution to pollution and prevent lavish spending of water. We all live on a finite planet, and though we create problems we can also solve them.
Ways that you can take action and conserve water include, taking short showers, closing the tap while brushing your teeth, washing your car less, watering your lawns less, ect. We can all partake in the conservation of water, and help are planet.
-P.S. all of these actions will lower your water bill.
