Meet Our Prop Crew:
First time being a head? First time being a head for this particular crew? If not what other shows have you been a head for? If you are a first time head, how has that experience been?
This is my second time being a head, but the first for set. I was also prop head for our previous competition piece, Goodbye to the Clown. Overall, it has been a great experience and I've had a great time with my amazing crew.
How excited are you for this show?
I'm super excited about this show as overall everything has gone smoothly and I can't think of any big problems that would stop the end product being amazing.
Biggest Struggle?
The biggest struggle was just dealing with covid and online rehearsals. Because we were unable to work in person for more than half of the the total time of rehearsals we had to work double time to get everything we needed done.
What skills to a virtual show did you learn?
I have learned how to manage the little time that we had to be able to get as much done as we could.
Is there advice for anyone looking to be a head for future shows?
My advice would be to just go for it regardless of if you think you can do it or not. If you need help there will always be people who can help you so if you have a passion for a crew just go for it.
Is there any story or memory of this show you would like to share?
My favorite memory was on the first full dress rehearsal, I remember setting up the stage with all of the props and set pieces and then just taking a step back and seeing what all of our effort has been working hard to create. Before this point I had just seen small isolated pieces but being able to see the full stage come together was just beautiful.
How excited are you for this show?
I'm really excited! I put in a lot of work designing all the paintings and working on the sets, so I'm excited to see everything finally come together.
Biggest Struggle?
Getting all of the paintings done and looking good. Painting the killing angel was down to the wire

It was more of adapting to an online aspect, and felt similar, not much of a difference.
