"Upon graduating from middle school, my son who played in his middle school band, was not sure he wanted to continue playing in the high school band. Yet, after attending the PVHS summer band camp his freshman year and playing in both the Marching and Concert bands, he now claims participating in music at PVHS was his best high school decision. A decision that has resulted in his cultivating a deep passion for music and music performance.

Participating in the PVHS music program has challenged him to grow his skills resulting in a breakthrough advancement of his musical abilities. He is also grateful for an unexpected benefit - making new friends who are fun, respectful and ever cheerful.

Seeing my son blossom and excel while having so much fun with the PVHS music program ignited an eagerness for me to participate and share in his excitement! I fulfilled this desire by participating in the Pride of Paradise Band & Orchestra Boosters (PoPBOB). In joining the PoPBOB, I met a wonderful group of parents who had fun supporting the band through the making of show props, helping out at state marching competitions, and concerts, or fulfilling various band needs. Serving with the PoPBOB proved a most memorable way to both share and support my son’s high school musical experience."
