About Me

My name is Jackie Setton, and I was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia.

This will be my fifteenth year teaching in Arizona and my fourth year teaching Engineering here at Crest.

I began my studies in Canada, have a B.A. in Political Science and History from the University of Western Ontario, and a my Masters in Humanities with an emphasis in American History.

I have a degree from the British Columbia Institute of Technology in Structural/Architectural Computer Drafting and Design, and worked for 10 years at a Structural Engineering firm, drafting and designing swimming pools and seismically upgrading buildings. I have completed multiple courses at both San Diego State University and San Jose State University for Project Lead the Way.

I have been married for 29 years to my wonderful husband Eli.

We have three terrific kids: David is 28, and is in the process of completing a PHd in Physics and Astronomy at The University of Pittsburgh.

  • Jessica is 25 and is working in Tucson, with a Masters in Public Health from NAU in Nutritional Sciences.

  • Sophie is 22 and a nurse in U of A in Tucson.
