Kindness & Empathy

Kindergarten and First Grade talk a lot about kindness during guidance, and Second Graders will be working on empathy throughout the year! Below are some resources and activities that may help supplement what we have been working on in school.

Spread Kindness, Not Germs!

Kindness Jars

Start a Kindness Jar in your home! Every time someone does something kind for someone else, write it down and put it in the jar. See how full you can make the jar by the end of each week! Go back and read the kindness notes together as a reminder of all of the kind things we are capable of! Each week, try to get more kind acts than the week before.
