All members of the American Legion Family are welcome to attend. While the curriculum is focused on Legionnaires, the leadership skills, organizational knowledge, and best practices shared throughout the training are valuable and applicable to the Auxiliary, Sons of The American Legion, and American Legion Riders

No. You don't have to be an officer to attend. Trainings are designed for current and aspiring leaders, as well as any member who wants to better understand the organization, develop leadership skills, and make a greater impact within the American Legion.

Trainings are free of charge to members of the American Legion Family, thanks to the Department of Michigan's commitment to developing strong leaders.

Trainings are from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Yes, lunch is provided.
