Shinkyokushin Karate was founded in 1964 in Japan by Mas Oyama.
In Lidia’s practice, it serves as the martial foundation for the source of structure, respect, conditioning, technical skill, and mental toughness.
For students seeking a more traditional Japanese martial pathway, Kyokushin also offers direct path with progressive development, self-command, physical conditioning, technical refinement, and mastery of yourself.
Not every student begins here, and Kyokushin is not mandatory. Some students, may enter first through movement development, private instruction, workshops, private coaching, or youth programs before moving deeper into traditional martial training if appropriate.
For those drawn to the Japanese martial roots of the system, Kyokushin provides the traditional foundation for developing the body, mind, character, discipline, and spirit through rigorous and intentional practice.
