We are thrilled to announce the second year of our Student Experience Speaker Series, a unique opportunity for university faculty and staff to come together and deepen our understanding of the student experience across various departments.

This series is an invaluable platform for sharing insights and exploring ways to collaboratively enhance the academic journey of our students. It offers a chance to gain an in-depth perspective on the various services provided by different departments and how we can contribute to and improve these efforts.

Your participation is highly encouraged as it will add great value to the discussions and the collective effort to enrich our students' university experience.

November 2023 Announcements

Join us in celebrating the spirit of giving back and the power of community within MaPS by participating in the Circle of Community Champions. The MaPS quarterly Volunteer Recognition Program is an opportunity to showcase the outstanding volunteer efforts of our students, faculty, & staff! To get involved, please submit your volunteer information by November 27th using the following link: MaPS Circle of Community Champions Volunteers. Additionally, we encourage you to inform your students about this fantastic program and motivate them to join as well. Stay tuned for the announcement of our first inductees in December. We can't wait to celebrate and acknowledge the outstanding contributions within our school.

We're already gearing up for an exciting 2024 Speaker Series! Your feedback is crucial in shaping this event. 2023 Summer Microfiction Writing Contest

You are invited to participate in Fiasco! A Microfiction Comedy Contest! Can you tell a tiny tale of things going wrong, but in a humorous way? Can you do it in 500 words or fewer? The contest is open to both humorous creative non-fiction and fiction entries on the theme of "things going belly up" or "putting your foot in it" or "close shaves" of any kind. STEM Journal Club

Do you want to stay current with what is happening in your field of study? Do you want to meet other faculty with similar interests? Perhaps you would like to learn more about another discipline? If so, the STEM Journal Club is for you! STEM Journal Club is an excellent opportunity to critically discuss current research topics and meet your fellow Purdue Global colleagues in a non-formal, relaxed setting while enjoying an intellectual dialogue about important topics in our respective disciplines.
