Gina Quesinberry
Congratulations to Gina Quesinberry, Assistant Dean in the School of Health Sciences, for submitting the winning Purdue Global Village 2025 theme, Learning Without Limits: Innovation in the Digital Age.
When asked to explain more about the theme idea, Gina shared, “This theme underscores the power of digital education and how it can help students transcend economic, geographic, physical and mental challenges.”
Gina explained how the theme represents the conference by saying, “We at Purdue Global remove traditional boundaries to education through the use of technology, flexible student-centered learning models, and inclusive ADA-compliant teaching methodologies, making quality education accessible to a diverse population. This theme allows us to celebrate the impact of innovation on our non-traditional student body.”
We asked Gina what she enjoys most about working at Purdue Global. She shared, “I find it exciting that we are breaking down barriers that limit access to education and leveling the playing field for our hardworking students. I’m also deeply grateful to be part of a remarkable team of colleagues who consistently demonstrate their commitment, not just to the quality of our programs, but to the well-being of our faculty, staff, and one another. Even after nearly 20 years, I continue to feel appreciated, supported, and truly at home here at PG."
Gina also shared some advice about professional development: “Professional development shouldn't be seen as a box to check or a last-minute dash to meet an eight-hour requirement. Instead, start early, choose topics that genuinely inspire you, and approach the experience with curiosity and enthusiasm.”
We also learned that Nani, Gina's 5-pound Yorkie, has become the unofficial mascot of the School of Health Sciences. She’s a regular presence in our meetings—always eager to lend her support! To the left are a few photos of Nani, both hard at work and enjoying some well-deserved playtime.
