Purdue Global Helped Her Fulfill a Dream She Didn’t Know She Had
When Kerry Koziol started to feel stuck in her career, an online law degree from Purdue Global Law School gave her new dreams to aim for. She’s sharing the story of how the future she imagined took an unexpected but perfect turn.
If you talk to law students, you’ll hear a lot of “I always wanted to go to law school.” That’s not my story.
I’m an ER nurse, and I earned my JD through Purdue Global because of a horse my husband and I rescued. I like the drama of the ER; I like the unexpected. I like the faster pace and the help I can offer. I like that at home, too — we live on a ranch and have horses and dogs.
When I was in my 40s, hospitals started requiring nurses to get BSNs. I loved my job, but I didn’t want a BSN. My options were to get a master’s in nursing, become a nurse educator or a nurse practitioner, but none of that really clicked with me. Read more about Kerry's Purdue Global journey.

Dr. King’s contributions can never be overstated, but he encouraged us all to do what we can, where we are, with what we have.
In this moving and insightful interview, Dr. Bernice King, director of the King Center in Atlanta and daughter of Dr. King, discusses her parents’ legacy and how to continue to pursue his dream of equality for all.
OCIE is also pleased to announce the creation of PG’s newest Employee Resource Group (ERG), Healthy Minds@Purdue Global! Healthy Minds is a place for all employees to gather to learn more about mental health, to share positive mental health strategies, and to offer support to others, promoting compassion, and empathy for all. Criminal Justice Student Spotlight
Zachary Beebe graduated in July of 2022 with his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice through the ExcelTrack Program.
According to Zachary, he was “under a time crunch and needed an institution where I could complete my degree based on my life. Purdue Global was a convenient opportunity.” The ExcelTrack Program allowed him to complete his degree quickly through a self-paced program that was easy with responsive instructors.
