The inaugural Purdue Global Moves are inspired and aligned with the Purdue University Next Moves. Three of the moves: Student Success, Professional Skills, and Classroom of the Future tie to the Purdue Move: Transformative Education 2.0. The fourth move is focused on Equity. Purdue Global will ensure that all members of the university community have the opportunity to experience all Purdue Global has to offer equitably, focusing on barriers to the success of students, faculty, and staff. Similar to the Purdue University Moves and the recently announced Purdue Next Moves, the Purdue Global Moves will drive discipline and results and will guide our priorities, strategies, and efforts into the future.

Do the PG Moves align us with Purdue West Lafayette?

Yes. The inaugural PG Moves are inspired, motivated, and aligned closely with two of Purdue University Next Moves: transformative education 2.0  and equity taskforce. Furthermore, three of the Purdue Global Moves tie to the Purdue Next Move of transformative education 2.0. Purdue Next Moves was introduced in April 2021 and Purdue Moves in 2013.

How do I get involved with PG Moves, especially if I am not a Champion or on a committee?

Thank you for your interest in becoming involved with PG Moves. Part of our planning will include listening sessions, surveys, or requests for information processes. These opportunities will be communicated in the Monday Minute and via email.

What is the timeline for PG Moves?

The timeline for PG Moves is between the launch (early June) through the end of October to work on the plan for each Move. Final plans are due in November and will be presented at the Board of Trustees meeting in early December.

How does PG Moves impact me?

As we work with PG Moves, they will provide our University with the framework necessary to guide us into the future and achieve the overarching goals of growth, innovation, and results. The goal is for these initiatives to become part of the fabric and culture of PG.
