Technology Update for Students - 2 Factor Authentication

We would like to inform you about a significant change that is about to take place that will help better to safeguard students’ accounts and privacy at Purdue Global. 2 Factor Authentication (2FA) was introduced to PG Campus on 7/20/23 as a required second means of sign-in beyond a username and password. 2FA is an industry standard that will help ensure that each student is the only person accessing their account.

How will it work?
On 7/20/23, after a student enters their username and password in PG Campus, they will be:

After successfully entering their passcode, students can access PG Campus and their Purdue Global account.

After this set-up, they will continue to receive an OTP by the method they chose each time they enter their username and password in PG Campus at the start of a new session.

Active students and students who have enrolled but have yet to start received a notification email regarding the upcoming change to their sign-in experience on 6/20/23. A follow-up communication was also sent on 7/13/23. Students cannot access PG Campus if this is not set up.

If you have any questions regarding this update, please contact Support & Solutions at 866-522-7747 or email techsupport@support.purdueglobal.edu.

Input Wanted - Help Create the Commencement Signature Drink

Each commencement, the Purdue Global Graduation and Events Team creates memorable experiences for our students and their families. The Black & Gold Celebration is one of the activities offered at in-person events. Since the 2021 December commencement, a drink known as “The Global” has been served. The recipe has changed for each commencement…until now.

The Graduation and Events Team and Purdue Global Ambassadors invite you to share recipe suggestions for a drink to be served at each commencement. Your entry will help us name a timeless signature spirit and mixer cocktail as the traditional drink we will call “The Global” to be enjoyed at the Black & Gold Celebration. The call for recipes is open to all employees, and the deadline is August 9. The Graduation and Events Team and Purdue Global Ambassadors judges' votes will help us narrow the entries to a shortlist of three finalists, based on the following rubric

Submit your drink recipe by August 9. Enter your recipe for a chance to win Purdue Global-branded prizes. Multiple entries are allowed. The winner will receive an Amazon gift card. Send questions to pgambassadors@purdueglobal.edu
