DEFINITION

Field placement: This is a course of study designed specifically for the preparation of industrial and organizational scientists that involves the supervised, practical application of previously studied theory. Field placement also serves as a forum for exploring careers in industrial and organizational psychology. It is an opportunity to be evaluated by and learn from practitioners in the field. Field placement is a place to explore potential areas of concentration.
