You are required to maintain a grade of “C” as the minimum acceptable grade for courses in the Master of Science in Psychology program. If you earn a grade of “F” in a course, you must immediately retake the course. You may only take a course twice and must earn the required grade of “C” or higher. Failure to earn the required grade will result in dismissal from Purdue Global after the second attempt.
Before beginning the field placement course and rotation, you are required to meet enrollment requirements listed in the Purdue Global Catalog.
Regular participation and submission of assignments in your courses is essential to your academic success. Please review the Purdue Global Attendance policy.
You will be required to meet the health and safety requirements of the specific agency approved for field placement.
If you have a health condition (i.e., pregnancy, seizure disorder, mobility impairments that require use of a walker or wheelchair, infectious disease or exposure to infectious diseases, emotional problems) that may have a safety consideration, you must immediately notify the Clinical Placement Team. While conditions such as these do not prevent you from completing the field placement, it is important that staff is aware of these types of matters as part of oversight of the field placement. You have the responsibility to self-report any health-related condition that occurs in the program to the Clinical Placement Team. Failure to report such conditions may result in delayed field placement.
All field placement sites reserve the right to establish documentation requirements beyond what is required by Purdue Global. You may be asked by the site to provide that information. If you do not comply with requested submissions to the site, you will be at risk for delayed placement, which may result in an inability to enroll in field placement courses and graduate from the Industrial and Organizational psychology program.
