At each of these points there are statements to show what each student should know and be able to do. They act as beacons, lighting up the learning path and providing a guide and inspiration for all who support learning. These provide a focus on the whole child and their learning experiences as they progress along their learning pathways.
Each of the transition points are split into 'Capabilities' that focus on what a student should know and be able to do within these. The statements are also split into the eight learning areas: (Te Ao Maaori and Learning Languages is a joint learning area)
