Governance Group

The governance group is made up of one representative from each school and if the need arose for a vote these schools have one vote each. 

Other groups with speaking rights (but at this stage no voting rights) are the RTLB's, our two ECE reps and our MOE team who also support us. We are working with other groups to widen our voice and consultation all the time and they may be added to the group.

The Governance group is like the Board of the COL and acts as an opportunity to share with all schools progress, actions, policy, direction ideas and resourcing.

The lead Principal presents a report/data/etc as they would a BOT meeting. The two support principals are the lead chair and or take minutes.

The guiding document for this group is the COL Document which was signed off by each BOT Chair and Principal in 2016.

The governance groups also has an appointments sub committee made up of a range of COL staff, principals, whanau and BOT reps.

This group meets once a term.
