Welcome to Math at Maidu!

I am looking forward to a wonderful journey exploring and learning about math with you!

Who is Ms. Amarel? I grew up in Grass Valley and began my first career as a Mechanical Engineer for the United States Navy after graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I always knew that one day I would be a math teacher, too! So, I earned my secondary teaching credential for mathematics from Central Connecticut State University and I have taught math courses for grades 6 though 11 in Connecticut and California.

Math can be exciting and frustrating - I know! But together, we can wonder and learn about math!
