This week we are going to be learning how to write, and present a news report on the current happenings in the Paris Olympics.

 You will need to think about the following things:

1. Find and gather interesting facts about the Olympic events.

2. Put the information in order and group similar facts together.

3. Use clear sentences and the right words to write about what you learned.

4. Practice, rehearse and record your News Report, and share it to your blog!

WALT: create a detailed information report about Paris.

This week we are going to be learning how to create a report all about Paris. You will need to think about the following things:

1. Find and gather interesting facts about Paris from books, websites, and other sources.

2. Put the information in order and group similar facts together under different headings.

3. Use clear sentences and the right words to write about what you learned.

4. Make your report look nice with pictures, maps that relate to the article.

WALT: structure a recount using detailed and descriptive language.

Instructions:

This term our theme is Karawhiua Give it heaps and our focus question is How does nutrition and exercise contribute to our hauora? On Monday we had an immersion assembly where all of the teams showed us what they were going to be doing this term. 

You now need to create a recount about that assembly remember to add as much detail as you can.
