A discussion is a conversation had in a group where the aim is to share our individual ideas and opinions, to listen to the ideas and opinions of others.
Why?
Because everybody has important ideas and opinions, and if we can listen to them, we get a much WIDER view of the world.
Today, you will be recording a group discussion with your reading group.
Instructions:
Write down your ideas and opinions about the question you have been given.
"Do rituals, or "lucky charms" actually help you in stressful situations?"
Use the recorder from vocaroo.com/
Place the recording chromebook in the center of your group.
The leader will ask each member of the group to share their ideas and answers.
Once they have answered, you can...
share your thoughts on what they had to say,
ask them to clarify what they mean
disagree with them, and explain why
agree with them, and add your own ideas.
End the recording, download the audio, share it with your group, and post it to your blog with a short reflection of what you did, and what it felt like doing it.
