In term one our school wide inquiry is the 'Pt England Way'. We also have a focus on 'Kaitiakitanga i nga wa katoa' which is about taking care of and being responsible for our environment and everything in it. We also have a larger cluster wide focus called 'Te Taiao o Tamaki'. This term you will be learning how to use code. You will also be learning about the Paideia method of thinking and learning through discussion. You will learn how to create a simple game using the 'Scratch' programme. You will learn how to express your ideas confidently with supporting evidence from your research about a topic. You learn how to improve your thinking and communication skills.
